I.
The
Hall
A.
The Hall must be heated prior to rehearsal, and remain continuously
heated throughout the rehearsal and performance, if necessary or
requested.
B.
One armless, wheel-less chair is needed on stage.
C.
General, strong stage lighting with a cross wash is preferred.
D.
A
block of 90-minutes for on-stage rehearsal and sound check is needed
E.
The presence of the stage manager and/or lighting personnel at the
beginning of the rehearsal, during rehearsal and throughout the
concert, is required
F.
Neither recording nor picture taking during either the concert or
rehearsal is permitted without the artist’s prior and written
approval
II.
Dressing room
A.
One dressing room is needed
B.
A
sufficient number of chairs, mirrors, and lighting must exist
therein.
C.
Should be heated or air-conditioned when applicable.
D.
A
nearby restroom without public access is required.
E.
Carbonated and non-carbonated water, fruit and snacks would be
appreciated backstage.
F.
A
locked room where personal belongings and travel funds can be left
during rehearsal and performance is required.
III.
Program Copy
A.
Must contain the history of the ensemble, biographies, names and
instruments of performers
B.
Bottom Line Duo (BLD) is acknowledged as the exclusive
representation for BLD bookings
IV.
Presenter is responsible for any ASCAP or BMI
licensing fees.
V.
Complimentary Tickets
– We request two per performer.
VI.
CD
sales.
A.
Presenter will provide a staffed space for sales before and after
the concert and during intermission.
B.
Checks will be made payable to the Bottom Line Duo
C.
Percentages for the presenter may be negotiated
VII.
Child
Care – The duo travels with a young child born April 6th,
2004
A.
Presenter shall provide professional* child care services during the
rehearsal and concert.
B.
Preferred locations for child safety and Artist’s peace of mind:
1.
In the
dressing room.
2.
At the
CD point of sale.
3.
In the
Concert Hall
4.
*We
should discuss the terms.
